Day 1: Arrive at French Lick
Built at the turn of the century, the French Lick Resort stands as a testament to a bygone era. This lavish resort has a registry of guests who have included former presidents FDR and Ronald Regan. Get settled into the resort before enjoying a welcome dinner. Meal: D
Day 2: Louisville
Visit famed Churchill Downs, the “World’s Most Legendary Racetrack.” Go behind the scenes on a walking tour to see the more than 1,400 stalls and watch training from rail side (when available) and enjoy an included lunch. At the Frazier History Museum visit the Kentucky Bourbon Trail Welcome Center where you enjoy a bourbon tasting. Day 3: Elephant Encounter and Abbeydell Hall
At Wilstem Wildlife Park take a wagon ride through the giraffes, sloths, kangaroos and grizzly bears that live here.
