MTips.
M is for Mary, M is for Mayflower, M is for Mimi...
2012 has been a year for change. Our
summer cottage was sold and now we can travel as a family
during the summer. Fourteen summers were spent on Lake
Beulah in Wisconsin and they created the best memories.
A new tradition is forming in a couple of weeks - we
are taking the entire family on a Westward Ho! tour
to Salt Lake, Yellowstone National Park, Grand Tetons
and Mt. Rushmore for ten days. We want our grandchildren
to experience the world and seeing North America is
first on the bucket list.
MTips
is a change, too. I have been doing an industry email
for many years and I thought it was time for a "new
look" in this format. M – is for Mary, Mayflower
and Mimi (the nickname my grandchildren call me). Tips
- I feel that being in the industry 32 years and working
with my husband all those years, plus married 47 years
might produce some noteworthy tips. The secret to my
longevity is tenacity and determination to excel. I
am not a rocket scientist, yet failure is never an option.

I
am not all that smart. Over the years I've made
a lot of mistakes, missed a lot of opportunities
and chosen incorrect priorities. I've done a few
things right during that time as well – and
hopefully learned from both my hits and my misses. |
2. |
When
working with a partner, have the same goals yet
different ways of getting there. Our goals have
always been the same - but our strategies have differed.

Be
part of a family with high energy! |
Stay
tuned for next month's MTips and learn about traveling
with the family when I report back on our Westward Ho!
trip. It's going to be good!
