I know many of you take advantage of partnerships in your business every day because you partner with Travel Providers to offer that unique tour experience. But, do you take advantage of partnerships in your local community to help grow your membership?

Try working with your local bakery or flower nursery to do a hands-on day trip. They get to promote and sell their specialty product and you get a quick day out for your club. Last week I joined a Bank Club Director at their local Senior Community Center. The Community Center was looking for someone to offer day trips and they asked the bank to partner with them. The Club Director offered her day trips to over 75 people who attended the meeting at the community center as well as she promoted her bank and club. She invited Mayflower Tours there to promote our extended tours for a true partnership in travel.

What about partnering with a local clothing store who might have a travel line of clothes that they could offer at one of your travel presentations? Tie in a "How to Pack a Suitcase" presentation with Mayflower Tours and you have a nice educational meeting.

Think about the local businesses in your area, see if you can get them to help advance your club or maybe you can find your new meeting place like a movie theater or a library or a coffee shop.
