Upon returning from my first Mayflower Tours river cruise, I had to share what an amazing experience I had on the Romantic Rhine and Mosel River Cruise. Our tour began in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, with an included excursion that turned out to be one of my favorite adventures – a boat tour through the city’s well known canals. Seeing the city from the water offered a whole new perspective that I won’t soon forget. Here we boarded the exclusively chartered ship and we were off!

We disembarked the ship in Basel, Switzerland and traveled to Lucerne, Switzerland, for the included two-night stay at the Hotel Europe. While there, the group ventured into the heart of the Swiss Alps for a tram ride to the top of Mount Pilatus. The view from the top was stunning! Seeing the surrounding peaks and the gorgeous town nestled below the mountain is a sight that the group will never forget.
