I have just returned from a wonderful week on the Rhine and Mosel Rivers and I honestly cannot stop talking about what an amazing experience! Of course the ship was beautiful, the touring was breathtaking and the staff, service and food onboard were excellent, but what really makes Mayflower different is our staff and how we partner with your groups.

On our River Cruises we have two Mayflower Tours’ Cruise Directors and a Business Manager, more support staff than any other tour operator. We also understand the expectations of the US traveler and the group leader. In fact, many group leaders consider the Mayflower team an extension of their own staff. These individuals truly go above and beyond their outlined duties. I had a group leader recently say to me that we don’t tout the importance of the Mayflower team enough and I laughed because it’s all we talk about, but honestly it’s hard to understand it until you see if for yourself.

On just this past trip, one of our European Cruise Directors escorted a traveler to the hospital, keeping the individual comfortable and informed even with the language barrier, while the Group Leader and our other Cruise Director and Business Manager attended to the needs of the other passengers. If we only had one Cruise Director, we couldn’t have provided this personal attention. Just think about how many times you have had to decide on how to split your time and attention on a trip.

I know that I have been telling you about the Rhine and the Danube River Cruises for several years but seeing the Mayflower team in action again really solidifies the top notch service that I have been expressing to you all.
