Meet,
Dennis Buston, the French Liaison Officer
of the Normandy Veterans Association. He
will be your commentator on military and
local historical events and will be sailing
on both departures of the Splendor of the
Seine River Cruise. On your full-day included
excursion to Normandy including Omaha Beach,
the American Cemetery and the Memorial in
St. Laurent, Mr. Buston will share the intimate
facts about this region as a turning point
of World War II.

 For
many years I have been involved with the
Normandy Veterans Association as their French
Liaison Officer and arrange their parades
and events in Normandy. I organised the
65th Anniversary events and for some time
have been working on the 70th and last event
in 2014.” Stated Mr. Buston. “In
Normandy I am part of the D-Day Academy
and work with them in repairing and driving
the biggest collection of Military vehicles
in Normandy and maintaining the display
equipment. I am involved in being part of
the organisation of Military Vehicle and
Flying displays and commentating on proceedings."

the French rivers, and his main insightful
discussion will be on the Normandy events.
