During the African sunset experience game drive, keep an eye out for prides of lion, Cape buffalo, waterbucks, warthogs, endangered Rothschild giraffe, black & white Rhino, Burchell’s zebra, impala, and the elusive leopard among many others. Over 300 bird species have been spotted in the park as well. Continue to the Masai Mara National Reserve – Kenya’s most renowned game reserve offering wonderful scenery and plenty of wildlife. Arrive at your tented camp for lunch and some leisure time before departing on an exciting game-viewing drive. The rolling plains and grasslands, stretching far into the horizons as far as the eye can see, is home to the “Big Five” - lion, savannah elephant, Cape buffalo, leopard, and the black rhino. After breakfast, enjoy a full day in the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game-viewing drives to continue your search for the amazing wildlife including wildebeest, cheetah, spotted & striped hyena, Burchell’s zebra, and Masai giraffe among many others. Visit a traditional Maasai Village and experience the culture of this world-famous community where the Masai still live as they did for centuries. Visit the Giraffe Center and Karen Blixen Museum followed by dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant before returning to the airport for the onward flight to the Seychelles, an archipelago of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean. You will be met at the airport and transferred to the hotel for overnight accommodations. This afternoon, the vessel sails to Sainte Anne Channel. Late morning, cruise to Cousin, a small island is now a nature reserve and renowned as a haven for seabirds. Nature enthusiasts and wildlife photographers flock to this island where more than thirty rare bird species nest in the verdant vegetation. Its pristine beaches are dotted with huge rocks and tranquil nature trails winding through the Morne Seychellois National Park.
